Alice V. Mikolinski Brumley, 82, of North Haven, formerly of Hamden passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Yale-New Haven Hospital with her son by her side. She was the wife of the late Roy Brumley. Alice was born in New Haven on October 2, 1933; daughter of the late Birze and Josephine Mikolinski and had worked as a bookkeeper for New Haven Cold Storage, then PEZ Candy of Orange for many years and later as an Office Manager for Millfoam Corporation of Hamden until her retirement. During her retirement she was a great asset in her son’s business the Air Balancing Service Company of North Haven. She loved visiting family and friends. Mother of Charles W. Brumley. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by her siblings Buddy, Stanley and Mitchell Mikolinski, Jeanette Sczapa, Rosemary Stobierski and Vicky Froehlich.
Family and friends are invited to attend a “Celebration of Alice’s Life” on Friday evening, Feb. 19th at 6:00 PM at Bellini’s Restaurant, 2 Broadway, North Haven. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. The North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue has been entrusted with the arrangements.
I worked with Alice at Science Park Development Corporation. She was a great lady!
