Minnie Mary Bray Carlson, 101, of Hamden passed away peacefully on Friday, May 22, 2015 at the Benchmark Senior Care and Assisted Living, Hamden. She was the wife of late Francis W. Carlson. Born in Naugatuck on January 28, 1914; daughter of the late Howard and Louisa Wiedmann Bray. She worked as a sales person for the former North Haven Hardware and was a member of the Saint Andrew’s Methodist Church in New Haven. Sister-in-law Abby Bray. Aunt of Nancy Benoit, Michael Wynne, John Law, Ronald, Robert and Brian Bray, Sharon Farrelly. Also survived by several great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Florence Wynne, Helen Law and brothers Harold and Lawrence Bray, and a nephew Robert Law.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Thursday morning at 11:00. Relatives and friends may call from 10:00 am until time of service. Interment will follow in the North Haven Center Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, 1230 Townsend Ave., New Haven, CT 06513.
I am very sorry for your loss. Although I did not know your loved one personally, I hope knowing that they are in our loving heavenly Father's memory will bring your family comfort during this difficult time. Very soon now we can look forward to God's promise at a Revelation 21:4: "… Death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore, the former thing have passed away."
