Luther A.Trieschmann V, 81, of East Haven, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Husband of Kathryn Casey Trieschmann. Born in Hartford on December 29, 1932; son of the late Luther and Eleanor Aston Trieschmann IV. He had served his country faithfully in the US Army, was a Past Master and Mason for Lodge #63 and had worked as a Conductor for Amtrack and Conrail. Father of Karen T. Goodman, Margaret Gambardella, Sean (Andrea) McGuire and Kirk Trieschmann. Grandfather of Michael “Mickey Ben” Goodman, Vincent, Dominick and Genevieve Gambardella and Robert Trieschmann.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for a memorial gathering at J-Roos, 249 State Street, North Haven on Saturday March 29th from 4-6 PM. The North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, has been entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 370 7th Avenue, Suite 1802, New York, New York 10001.
My thoughts and prayers are with Kathy , Margaret and all of the family. Luther was one of a kind!!! He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Cheers to you Luther an god bless , may you rest in peace.
