Antonio V. “Uncle Fish†Cillo, Jr., 57, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at the Smilow Cancer Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Ann T. Sommo Cillo. Born in New Haven on August 31, 1954; son of Edith Wright Cillo of Hamden and the late Antonio V. Cillo, Sr. Antonio was the owner and operator of Uncle Fish of North Haven. Father of Antonio L. (Malissa) Cillo of Wallingford, Amber M. Cillo of North Haven and April A. (Gregg) Kobrin of Wallingford. Loving Pop of Antonio L. Cillo, Jr. and Capri Kobrin. Son-in-law of Anthony and Lucy Sommo of North Haven. Brother of Vincent and Dana Cillo, David Murray and the late Louis Cillo. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and his faithful dog Jasmine. The family would like to extend a special “Thank You†to their niece Chelsey for all the love and care she had provided to her Uncle Fish during his final days.
His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue on Thursday morning at 9:30. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Church of the Resurrection, Wallingford at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Smilow Cancer Hospital, P.O. Box 1849, New Haven, CT 06508.
Tony, you will be missed for ever, but never forgotten. Zack wants you to know he will carry your advise with him forever and pass it on to his kids. Thanks for the memories over the years. Do not worry about the family cuz we will have your back!!! Now you can play joke with Nana while in Heaven.
