Glenn R. Stone, Sr., 58, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the St. Raphael campus of Yale-New Haven Hospital. Glenn was born in New Haven on January 11, 1956, son of the late Jesse R. Stone, Jr. and Lois-Jean Hanks Stone; was a mechanic for many years; enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing; was a science fiction enthusiast enjoying such sci-fi series as Star Trek, Twilight Zone, Lost in Space, just to name a few. Father of Tara Stone (Daniel) Koropatkin and Glenn R. (Amanda) Stone, Jr. Grandfather of Gianna, Gabriella and Gracie Stone, and Zoe Koropatkin. Predeceased by his sister Dawn Stone-Esposito.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Friday evening at 7:00 with the Pastor Thomas Vergato officiating. Family and friends may call from 4:00 pm until time of service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
I love you Glenn, you were always there for me when I had no where else to turn. You took me in as your daughter and good friend. I will always remember the fun times we had because that is what you would want, may you find peace in heaven with your sister and family as well as Felony,she must be happy to finally see you again. My heart is with Glenn Jr. Stone , Tara Stone, Grand children and the rest of his family. May you rest in peace and see you on the other side.
