Eleanor Wade Miller, 69, of Skiff Street, North Haven, passed away Monday, January 30, 2012 at the Masonicare Health Center, Wallingford. She was the wife of the late Richard W. Miller. Born in New Haven on February 24, 1942; daughter of the late Robert and Eleanor Sullivan Wade; she had worked as a hairdresser for many years at the former Mario’s Beauty Salon, and loved gardening and decorating her home. Mother of Richard (Rosemary) Miller of Huntington, NY, Gregory (Paula) Miller and No.HPD Patrolman Wade Miller all of North Haven. Grandmother of Ryan and Gabriella Miller. Sister of Diane Hotchkiss of West Haven, Robert Wade of Easton, Mary St. George of North Haven, John Wade of Durham, Marc Wade of Tahlequah, OK and the late Joanne Fluke.
Her Funeral Procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., Friday morning at 10:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Rita’s Church at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Thursday from 5 to 8 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the CT Hospice, Inc., 110 Barnes Rd., Wallingford, CT 06492.
