Lewis M. White Sr., 74, of Northford, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 3, 2015 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford with his family by his side. He was the husband of Billye Bigelow White. Lewis was born in Nashville TN on November 27, 1940; son of the late Ernest and Geraldine Marshall White. He worked as a Regional Manager for the Wyeth Ayerst Company for many years until his retirement and was a former member of the Northford Congregational Church. Father of Valli (Joseph) Ciarci and Lewis (Zira) White Jr. Grandfather of Christopher and Kelly White, Lauren and Amanda Ciarci. Brother of Judy (Mike) Featherston and Les (Betty) White. Predeceased by his first wife Frances White. Lewis, always known as a “Perfect Southern Gentleman” will be truly missed by his family and friends.
A memorial service will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Tuesday evening, April 7th at 7:00. Family and friends may call from 5:00 pm until time of service on Tuesday. Should friends desire memorial contributions may be made to the CT Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Very sorry to learn of Lewis's passing. I enjoyed his company and humor to no end. He was one of the nicest individuals I have ever met. I will miss him dearly.
