Elinor M. Bonnardi Bedard, 88, of North Haven passed away Thursday, September 4, 2014 at her home. She was the wife of the late Benoit J. Bedard. Elinor was born in New Haven on April 1, 1926; daughter of the late Frederick and Mary Isella Bonnardi. Predeceased by her sister Barbara Bonnardi. Beloved mother of Sherrie Casasanta and her husband Vincent. Loving grandmother of Nicole and Rachael Casasanta. Elinor was a happy and caring person, loved her granddaughters unconditionally, enjoyed watching them play lacrosse and was always very supportive of them. Elinor also greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was the former president of the Eaton Place Condo Association.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Monday morning at 11:00. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Therese Church at 11:30. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family in the North Haven Center Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Sunday from 12:00 to 4:00 PM.
