Leo W. Weston, 79, of 165 Clintonville Road, North Haven, passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at the Masonicare Health Center, Wallingford. He was the husband of 54 years to Lorraine Rakiec Weston. Born in New Haven on April 11, 1932; son of the late Charles and Bertha Flak Weston. He had worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 32 years retiring as a clerk and later was a driver for the New Haven Register. Leo enjoyed watching his grandsons play baseball. Father of Mark Weston of Wallingford and James (Jacqueline) Weston of Branford. Grandfather of James Weston, Jr., Mark Anthony Weston, Jennifer and Emily Weston. Brother-in-law of Sigmund Rakiec.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Saturday morning at 11:00. Family and friends may call from 9:00 am until time of service. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Should friends desire memorial contributions may be made to a charity of ones choice.
