Charles P. Ferriolo, 75, of North Haven, passed away on Saturday March 3, 2012 at Yale New Haven Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Elisa (Lauteri) Ferriolo. Born in New Haven on May 16, 1936; son of the late Charles and Lillian Caputo Ferriolo. He had worked as a Superintendent for New Haven Terminal, Inc. for 35 years and later worked part time at Yale University. He served his country faithfully in the U.S. Airforce during the Korean War. Father of Elaine Ferriolo, Susan Robbins and her fiancé Paul Johnson all of Branford and Charles (Lisa) Ferriolo, Sr. of Torrington. Grandfather of Charles, Jr., Christopher and Lilliana Ferriolo, Julia & Katelyn Robbins and Savannah Johnson. Brother of Gilda (Frank) Maresca of N.C., John Ferriolo of New Haven, Lawrence (Lorraine) Ferriolo, William (Rose) Ferriolo all of East Haven and the late Helen Ferriolo.
His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., Wednesday morning at 9:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Frances Cabrini Church at 10:00. Interment with full military honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm
