Rose B. Cimino, 69, of Rimmon Road, North Haven, passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the CT Hospice, Branford. She was the wife of Alphonse J. Cimino. Born in New Haven on May 10, 1942; daughter of the late Gaetano and Nancy Carpentieri Bottone. Rose was the Vice President of Apicella’s Bakery in New Haven, the Vice President of G.A.V.A., taught CCD for St. Frances Cabrini Church and also was a member of its Woman’s Club. She liked bowling and loved the N.Y. Yankees and going to the casino. Mother of Nancy (Michael) Silengo of North Haven, MaryBeth (Stephen) Galluba of North Branford and Pasquale (Christine) Cimino of North Haven. Grandmother of Nicole & Alyssa Silengo and Alexandra & Stephen Galluba. Sister of Mary (John) Conway of East Haven and the late Pasquale, Carmen, Louis Bottone. Sister-in-law of Mary Bottone of North Haven, Marie Bottone of East Haven and the late Marie Bottone. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Monday morning at 10:30. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Frances Cabrini Church at 11. Entombment will follow in the All Saints Mausoleum. The visiting hours will be Sunday from 4 to 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the CT Hospice, Inc. 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.
A woman who was always a Classy Lady. Her bright smile will be missed by all.

Dearest Al and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Rose was a great lady. I’ll always remember her smile and how much she loved life. My mom cared so much for Rose and thought of her often. have moved to florida. Anthony and I(Marianne) graduated from High School with our good friend Rose and we have never forgotten her. She was such a giving person. Surely she is with Jesus in Heaven.
