Eric C. Sanzone, Sr., 44, of Woodland Avenue, North Haven, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was the husband of Rebecca Thody Sanzone. Born in New Haven on November 17, 1967; son of Frank and Elizabeth Piscitelli of North Haven. Eric had worked as a machinist for Drill Masters Inc. and his favorite pass time was being like a dad to the neighborhood children who loved him dearly. Father of Eric C. Sanzone, Jr and Brandon Sanzone. Brother of Jonna V. (Nathaniel) Appleby of North Haven, Frank (Rachel) Piscitelli of West Haven, Alphonse (Ann) Piscitelli and Joseph (Shawn) Piscitelli all of North Haven. Brother-in-law of Lisa Piscitelli and April Pettis. Special Dad to Christopher Briggs and Kayla Leyerzapf. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue on Monday morning at 11:00 with the Rev. Timothy Meehan officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Sunday from 3 to 6 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Eric Sanzone, Sr. Children’s Education Fund c/o Liberty Bank, 174 Washington Ave., North Haven, CT 06473.
Eric, you will be miss. You were just not a brother, you were a friend to me too. I remember the times you woud let take your car. Also, the time you cut the wires to the car and I sat there for you and rewire it for you. Those were the good old days. You will certainly be missed by many.
You will be Greatly Missed.

Eric.. i will miss you alot.. I remember all, of the projects we worked on like your cars and the bike.. Im really gonna miss those days of hanging out together working on something.. Having mom come out and yell at us for being to noisey..i remember your wedding day when i stood there beside you at the alter and asking you are ready for this and looked at me and said yes i told you i got your back.. we always had each others back no matter what it was… bro im heart broken and gonna miss you.. i remember when i was in the service and i woild call you and tell how rough it is here you would tell me that i can do this and the talks we had got threw it you were always there for me love you always and missing you your brother frankie p.s save me a spot next to you
