Pasquale Joseph “Pat” Criscio, 83, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Friday, January 23, 2015.  He was the beloved husband of Marie Papa Criscio for 62 years.  Father of Pasquale Criscio, Jr. and Donna Naples.  Grandfather of Timothy Criscio, Laura Criscio and Nicole Naples.  Great-Grandfather of Destiny Criscio.  Brother of Jenny Kaminsky, Salvatore, Albert and Michael Criscio and the late Antoinette Vallombroso, Mary Lou Nystrand, Joseph and Anthony Criscio.  Also survived by many cherished nieces, nephews and friends. Pat was born in New Haven on July 18, 1931; son of the late Salvatore and Jeanette Criscio.    In his youth, Pat played football for the New Haven Crowhills, loved to hunt and fish.  Pat worked for Connecticut Refining as Vice President and Service Manager for 28 years until his retirement.  During his professional career he served as Vice President for the International Connecticut Petroleum Association (ICPA) and was a founder and instructor at the Technical Education Center for which he was presented an official “Citation of Recognition” by the Secretary of the State of Connecticut for his outstanding efforts.  Pat and his wife enjoyed going on vacations, traveling and going to the casino.  In the mornings he also enjoyed meeting his friends at Annie’s Kitchen. Pat will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Thursday morning at 10:30.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Therese Church at 11:00.  Entombment will follow in the All Saints Mausoleum.  The visiting hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929.
