Crispina Yulay Biagtan, 72, of Hamden passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford. She was the wife of the late Severino L. Biagtan. Crispina was born in San Nicholas Tarlac, Philippines on December 5, 1942; daughter of the late Jesus and Francisca Espinosa Yulay. She had worked for CT. National Bank, The Jewish Home for the Aged, Stop & Shop, attended Far Eastern University and was a C.P.A in the Philippines. Mother of Raymond (Giselle) Biagtan, Shiela (Michael) Milne and Vanesa (Antonio) Banaga. Grandmother of Kassandra Rae Biagtan, Alexander George Milne, Olivia Anne Biagtan Sophia Elizabeth Banaga , Mackenzie Severino Banaga and Ana Michelle Milne. Also survived by three sisters and a brother.
Relatives and friends are invited to go directly to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 2819 Whitney Ave., Hamden, and Wednesday morning at 10:00 to attend a Mass of Christian Burial and to attend the committal services immediately following in Centerville Cemetery, Hamden. The visiting hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue.
Dear Shiela and Family I worked with Crispina for so many years at Stop & Shop, she was a lovey a wonderful person to work with. I didn't Know that she retired from Stop and Shop, when I heard that she past away, I was so sad to hear it. My thought and prayers will be with you at this difficult time! I will miss her.
