Rena Emily Tirone Marioni, 101, of Wallingford, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at the Hospital of St. Raphael. She was the wife of the late Albert L. Marioni. Born in New Haven on October 12, 1910; daughter of the late Albert and Luisa Avidano Tirone. Mother of Shirley Perfetti and her husband Anthony with whom she had resided. Grandmother of Linda Parillo and her fiancé David Jetmar, and Anthony A. Perfetti. Great-grandmother of Michael (Samantha) Parillo, Chiristopher (Danielle) Parillo, Kimberly (John) Lomento, Alec and Graysen Perfetti. Great-great grandmother of A.J. Parillo and Ayden Lomento. Sister-in-law of Flora Menchetti. Predeceased by a brother Frank Tirone.
His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Monday morning at 10:30. Family and friends may call from 9 to 10:30 am. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Hamden at 11:00. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Hamden. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Frangile X Foundation, 1615 Bonanza St., Ste. 202, Walnut Creek, CA 94596-4531.

I was very sorry to hear about your loss. Her longevity is nothing if not a tribute to the devoted care she received from her loving family.
