Nora L. Gibertoni Riccio, 76, of Hamden, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at the CT Hospice, Branford. She was born in New Haven on October 30, 1935; a daughter of the late Orasio and Dorina Gherardi Gibertoni. Nora was committed first to her faith in God Almighty through His Only Son, Jesus Christ; her Lord and Savior. Through the Remnant Fellowship Church in Brentwood, TN. Nora was also a devoted Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Aunt, Cousin and Friend. She cherished spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Donna A. Riccio Ferraro (John) of Hamden, two sons, Vincent A. Riccio (Ellen) of East Haven, and Harry O. Riccio (Beth) of Guilford, her six grandchildren, Jennifer D. Ferraro Ceniccola (Anthony) of Hamden, Samantha R. Castellon of Branford, Cory E. Riccio of Guilford, Jenna S. Riccio of North Branford, John A. Ferraro of Hamden, Joseph O. Riccio of Hamden. She currently has one two year old great grandson A.J. (Ceniccola) of Hamden, with one more great grandchild (Ceniccola) on the way; due in September of this year. She was predeceased by brothers, Lindo, Lorenzo and Erio Gibertoni, and sisters, Lillian Maggi, Nancy Brown, Edith Dringoli, Enus Gibertoni and Erma (Tina) Vermiglio.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Christian burial celebration on Thursday, April 5th, 2012 at 1:00 PM in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, corner of Ella Grasso Blvd. and Columbus Avenue.
