Rose Migliaro Cassella, 89, of North Haven, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2012 at the CT Hospice, Branford. She was the wife of the late Anthony C. Cassella. Born in New Haven on December 4, 1922; daughter of the late Andrew and Rose Sirica Migliaro. Rose enjoyed cooking and baking. Loving Mother of Ronald A. (Denise) Cassella of Branford and Anthony C. (Lisa) Cassella, Jr. of North Haven. Loving Grandmother of Mark, Heather, Rachael, Marissa and Hayley Cassella. Loving Sister of Grace Mitchell of North Haven, Anthony Migliaro of Harvard, MA & Naples, FL, Mary Grieco of Hamden, Jennie Magel of Milford, Catherine Colaninno of Waterbury and the late Madeline Christoforo, Christie, Antionette and Andrew Migliaro. Sister-in-law of Julian Mitchell, Joanne Migliaro and Albert Colaninno. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Friday morning at 9:30. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Barnabas Church at 10:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 pm. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Manor, 261 Benham St., Hamden, CT 06514 or CT Hospice, Inc., 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405.

It was always a treat for me to speak with Rose when I would call to your home. The comfort and happiness that you all shared was evident in her voice. I’ll always remember sharing that wonderful coffee cake that she made for when I visited. Like all good people, she’ll be missed.

RONNIE, I’M SO VERY SORRY…
To the Cassella and the Migliaro family I’m so sorry for every ones loss, she was a beautiful, smart, funny, out going person and will NEVER be forgotten. She is now watching over us and Is with her husband and in peace and no longer suffering. Grandma I love you forever and ever.

My Dear Sweet Aunt Rose, I want you to know we will miss you always and never forget the sweet and fun Aunt you were to all of us.
