George F. Reynolds, 88, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford with his family by his side.  He was the beloved husband of the late Cecelia B. Valentino Reynolds.  George was born in New Haven on March 15, 1928, son of the late Charles and Lucy Graham Reynolds; served his country faithfully in the US Navy during the Korean War; had worked as a Machinist for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for many years until his retirement; was an avid NY Mets fan; parishioner of St. Therese Church and most of all enjoyed having breakfast with his nephew Joe.  Father of Nancy Cicarella, Georgia (LuAnn Gallicchio) Reynolds, Annmarie (Michael) Kearney and the late Thomas Reynolds.  Grandfather of Cynthia and Jim Cicarella, Patrick Kearney.  Great-Grandfather of Edward Papero and Madison Cicarella.  Predeceased by his brothers Joseph, Charlie, Jimmy and Billy Reynolds.

His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue Wednesday morning at 11:30.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Therese Church at 12 Noon.  Interment with full military honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
