Roger G. Corso, Sr., 58, of Great Oak Road, Northford, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2012. He was the husband of Sandra Simonelli Corso. Roger was born in New Haven on April 6, 1954 and had worked in the maintenance department at Sheehan High School in Wallingford. Roger was a man who always put others before himself; always there to help when others were in need and truly was a jack-of-all-trades. Roger was a master carpenter and was an avid New York Giant’s fan. He enjoyed family get togethers, especially backyard barbeques; was a great father but most of all was the best poppy, gardening and playing with his grandchildren were the most happiest time of his life. Father of Roger G. Corso, Jr. and Kevin Corso both of Northford, Gary (Jennifer) Corso of Wallingford. Loving poppy of Cole and Skylar Corso.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Friday from 5 to 8 pm. Funeral services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Smilow Cancer Hospital, P.O. Box 1849, New Haven, CT 06508.

I can’t even begin to tell you all how sorry i am for your loss. Roger was a wonderful man. Daisy loved coming over to be with the kid’s but the best part of that was playing with (poppy)!!!!
He will be truly be missed by all. Now he is an Angel watching over all he loved!!!
