Mary S. Nicoletti Fusco, 90, formerly of North Haven passed away peacefully, Sunday, May 6, 2012 at the Branford Hills Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Patrick Fusco. Mrs. Fusco was born in Ansonia on December 10, 1921; daughter of the late Salvatore and Concetta Falzone Nicoletti. Mary loved to cook and was devoted to her family. Mother of William F. Fusco (Margaret) of Guilford and Diane M. Fusco-Moore (Stanley) of Branford. Grandmother of Christopher P. and Nicholas A. Fusco, Tyler P. and Bryan S. Moore. Beloved Sister of Carmella Pedevillano (John), Sue Soleski (Peter), Angie Knott (Robert) all of Ansonia who were always there for Mary and visited her often, and the late Anthony, Michael and Joseph Nicoletti, Rose Caporale and Lucy Pittingoro. Sister-in-law of Michael Pittingoro of Seymour. The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to all the nurses and staff at the Branford Hills Health Care Center for the excellent and comforting care they provided to Mary and our family over the past years; also to the nurses of VITAS over the past few days.
Family and friends are invited to attend a mass of Christian burial on Wednesday at 10:00 am in St. Barnabas Church and are also invited to attend the committal services immediately following in All Saint Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the CT Hospice, Inc., 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405. The North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue has been entrusted with her arrangements.
