I will be the first to tell you that I did not know Tim nearly as well as the many wonderful people I met over the last few days. I can also tell you that Tim has had an unbelievable impact on me over the years since I first met him. Although I did not see Tim very often I did interact with the many people he was directly involved with. Through these interactions I got to know Tim better. The amount of love and care that surrounded Tim as he lived his life was easy to see through his family and the people that always surrounded and supported him.
Just a week ago I was with a great friend of Tim’s. We were walking down the beach and talking about him. This person was very worried about Tim and could not get their mind at ease. I asked this person if they believed in miracles. This person did not answer. I picked up a dried up branch lying on the side of the beach and stuck it in the sand. I held the other end with my hand and started walking, dragging this stick with me through the sand. The stick never separated from the sand as we walked down the beach. Our feet would get wet every now and again as the waves tried to get us but we kept walking. After some time I stopped and stuck the stick deep into the sand. We then walked to the dry sand and sat for a while.
I explained to this person that the line on the sand that stretched farther than our eyes could now see represented Tim’s time since we met him. We held him close as he continued his journey and although many times the waves came crashing through his life he never stopped moving forward and kept fighting. The truth is that Tim, by many accounts, should have left us many years ago. But he did not. He continued forward and by doing that he brought many people together that probably would have never, ever met. During this time Tim also married a wonderful woman and brought to this world a beautiful child. Through his journey we all became the TIM STRONG family. I have observed this group grow over the years and become that much closer. To me, that is a miracle. The fact that Tim continued forward and somehow managed to bring this large mix of people together is absolutely life-changing and amazing.
So, if I am ever asked if I believe in miracles I know I have a story to tell because all along, as we walked together with Tim, we were all living in a miracle. And for that, I am extremely grateful.
Thank you Tim,
~C
R.I.P Tim, you’re in a better place now where you’re no longer in pain. You fought a long, hard, battle and proved to us all that strength and courage are two of the most important factors a person could have. You will be missed.
R.I.P. Tim, we connected talking about pro-wrestling at work whenever we got the chance. I’ll be throwing up the Horseman hand salute just for you. To put a spin on something you quoted all the time, diamonds are forever & so will be your memory.
Tim is one of the most caring and kind people I have ever know. I am very honored to have had him in my life. The strength of this man is so incredible and the fight he fought for so very long is incredible. I will greatly miss him. Be at peace my friend and know we will continue to help your wife, daughter, and parents. I hope to see you again one day.
God Bless our beloved friend Tim and his precious family. He was certainly one of a kind…never to be repeated. He will be an amazing example of a Guardian Angel to his family. No need to worry Amelia & Kiera !

Although I am not sure I can attend the memorial service I wanted you to know how very sorry I am.
Tim’s Office was located next to mine (the District Office in the wallingford
store) so we often passed each other. I was a cancer survivor and
Tim and I often spoke to each other as “survivors” do. He was always full of hope and encouragement. I know he was a warrior and he will surely be missed by all who loved him
Timmy you will be missed, I will always remember our talks. You always took the time to say hello to everyone. Your were a kind soul…Heaven will be a much better place with you there. My thoughts are with Amelia and Kiera, and all your family..It was a long battle but now your at peace. <3 Tim Strong<3
