Jane A. Galli Rossi, 90, of The Maplewoods at Hamden, formerly of Orange, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at the CT Hospice, Branford. She was the wife of the late Alden Rossi. Born in West Haven on July 10, 1921; daughter of the late Antonio and Amelia Carlotti Galli. Jane enjoyed being a homemaker and cooking, in her earlier years she worked at the former Hildreth Press of Orange. Mother of Richard (Marilyn) Rossi of Westbrook and Linda (Roger) Harley of Fanwood, NJ. Grandmother of Catherine Harley. Sister of Ann Cirioni of East Haven and the late Egidio DellaValle, Mary Cibelli and Paul Galli.
Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Ave., North Haven on Wednesday morning June 6th at 11:00 to attend a mass of Christian burial. Interment will be privately held next her husband in Arlington Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the CT Hospice, Inc., 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405.
