Maritta K. Anselmo Regino, 69, of Northford passed away peacefully on Friday, August 7, 2015 with her family by her side. Maritta was born in Aachen, Germany on March 16, 1946; had worked for American Medical Response in the Claims & Billing Deparment; loved to cook; was a lover of music and was known as the “Crazy Grandma” to all her grandchildren because of her great spirit. Loving mother of Paula R. (Edward) Devaney, Maritta R. (Robert) Sorensen and Thomas D. (Denise) Regino. Devoted grandmother of Tristan R. and Gracey M. Sorenson, Thomas C. Regino, Edward M. Devaney, Jr., Nicolette G. Regino, Evan T. and Aidan P. Devaney. Sister of Kathryn Dewing. Predeceased by her father Natale Anselmo, grandmother Catherine Anselmo, special aunt and uncle Roy & Grace Dewing and her former husband Thomas F. Regino.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Tuesday morning at 9:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Therese Church at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Monday from 4 to 8 pm.

I work with Maritta at AMR for many years she was a very nice person she did loved to cook and would invite us to her house for lunch she loved talking about her grandchildren and how they would call her crazy grandmom she love to dance she was so much fun she will be missed but i am sure she in a better place goodbye my friend untill we meet again God Bless.
