Mary Palumbo Saranitzky, 95, of New Haven, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2013, daughter of the late Peter and Susan Arserio Palumbo. Devoted wife of the late Edward Saranitzky, Sr. Loving Mother of Edward Saranitzky, Jr. (New Haven) and Darlene Grech (California). Sister of Eleanor Pohmursky (New Haven), Albert Palumbo (Branford) and the late Anna Porter, Johanna Jilson and Frank Palumbo. Beloved grandmother of Melissa Passarello (Joseph) of Glastonbury, Elisa Saranitzky (New Haven) and Meaghan Grech (California).
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, on Saturday morning at 9:30. Family and friends may call from 8:30 to 9:30 am. A mass of Christian burial will follow in St. Barnabas Church at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
