Robert W. “Bob” / Pop-Pop Moore, 86, of North Haven formerly of Bethany, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 15, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was the beloved husband for over 62 years to Audrey McMorrow Moore.  Robert was born in New Haven on May 7, 1927; son of the late Burnice W. and Freda Lassen Moore; served his country faithfully in the US Navy during WW II; had worked for the United Iluminating Company for many years retiring as a supervisor.  Robert was a member of the V.F.W. of Bethany; loved to travel and watch the Boston Red Sox’s and UCONN Basketball with his wife, but most of all he loved the many fun times he spent with his grandchildren.  Father of Eileen (Donald) Andersen, Kathleen (Rich) DePonte-Janssen and Beth (Fred) Peters.  Grandfather of Kaitlyn Elias, Jacqueline Andersen, Sydney and Zachary Peters. Brother of Francis Moore and the late Bernice Mozealous.  Brother-in-law of Frank Mozealous and Edith Moore.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to Antoinette Comisky who was not only Robert’s caregiver but a dear family friend.

Funeral Services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Wednesday morning at 10:30. Relatives and friends may call from 9 until time of service. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
