Minnocci, Filomena "Phyllis" Petrazzuoli, 83, of Rotonda West FL, formerly of East Haven CT, beloved wife of Joseph Minnocci, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2015 at Englewood Community Hospital in Florida. Filomena worked as a seamstress until the birth of her children, when she lovingly devoted the rest of her life to caring for family and friends.  She was a stylish, naturally talented seamstress and cook, who took great pride in her creations.  Filomena was very friendly and developed many long lasting relationships with friends of all ages, whom she loved dearly.  Always smiling, she was a sweet, compassionate, caring woman, whose greatest joy was sharing her love with family and friends through hugs, kisses and the food she prepared. Born in Ruviano, Caserta, Italy on January 1,1932, Daughter of the late Antonio and Teresa Cusano Petrazzuoli.  Loving Mother of Maria (Dario) Tommasone of East Haven, and Joseph A. (Robin) Minnocci of Wallingford. She is survived by loving brothers Mario (Maria) Petrazzuoli of East Haven, Italo (Louise) Petrazzuoli of Shelton, and Vincenzo (Anna) Petrazzuoli of Crema Italy.  Her beloved  grandchildren  Christina Tommasone, Jessica Tommasone, Rene Minnocci and Jeanine Minnocci. She also leaves many cherished nieces and nephews. Filomena was preceded in death by sisters Maria Rosa (Luigi) Verrillo, Giuseppina (Rocco) D'Ambrosca, and her brother Leone (Elena) Petrazzuoli.  
 

The funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home36 Washington AvenueSaturday morning at 9:15.  A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Anthony's Church of New Haven at 10:00 am, interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.  Friends may call Friday 4 to 8 pm.
