Jayme Colvano DeLucia, 69, of North Haven passed on Monday, May 11, 2015 after a courageous 20 year battle with cancer at the Smilow Center with her family at her side. She was the wife of 46 years to Raymond DeLucia, Jr. Jayme was born in New Haven on October 4, 1945; daughter of Loretta Cossidente Colvano and the late John Colvano. Mother of Brian DeLucia and his wife Julie, Lynne Anastasio and her husband William. Grandmother of Brandon and Gabriella DeLucia, and Rebecca Anastasio. Sister of Lauren Montano and the late Denise Colvano. The family expresses their thanks to the full Smilow team of medical professionals who cared for Jayme with treatments in a supportive compassionate manner. A special shout out to the NP-7 team!
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue Friday morning at 10:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Barnabas Church at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Thursday from 5 to 8 pm. In lieu of flowers please make a small donation to your cancer cause.

Jayme was a wonderful strong woman who I met at the cancer support group 9 years ago.She was so proud of her family and loved them sooo much. I'm so grateful to have met her..she was an inspiration to many cancer patients. Jamie, Judy and I had some entertaining adventures together. She will always be in my heart and prayers
