Vincent Dominic DeLucia, 37, beloved son of Giuseppe and Amalia Urbano DeLucia of North Haven, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 in Westport from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident that evening. Vincent was born in New Haven on November 25, 1975; was a graduate of Eli Whitney RVTS where he received his carpentry certificate. Vincent had worked for many years for his father’s company G. DeLucia Contractors and later for SavA Tree of Norwalk. Brother of Anthony DeLucia. Uncle and Godfather of Antonio Joseph DeLucia. Nephew of Jean (Richard) Kopjanski, Michael Urbano, Andrew (Vera) DeLucia, Katherine DiDomenico, Filomena Valentino, Michelina Mazzarella and Patricia Sorrentino. Also survived by many cousins.
His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Monday morning at 9:30. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Therese Church at 10:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Sunday from 3 to 6 pm.

There are no words to express how I feel, nor can I imagine what Joe, Mary and Anthony are going thru. No parent wants to bury a child. Vinnie was taken too soon.
