Theodore Dubois Lennon, Jr., 83, of Treadwell Street, Hamden, passed away Saturday, August 4th, 2012 at his home. Born in New Haven on July 12, 1929; son of the late Theodore Dubois Lennon, Sr. and Alice Career Lennon. Mr. Lennon served his country faithfully in the U.S. Navy and had worked at the Jewish Home for the Aged. In his younger years he coached little league; he enjoyed classic cars, flying model airplanes, loved to tinker around but he enjoyed spending time with his family. Father of Kevin Lennon, Sr. and his wife Tracy of North Haven and the late Paul Lennon. Grandfather of Vivian, Bethann and Kevin Lennon, Jr.. Step-grandfather of Steven and Cole Roberts. Precedeased by his step father,Frank Dendas and step mother E. Lucille Dendas who later became his adoptive mother; his sister, Elizabeth Thompson and his step siblings, Leland Robinson and Jean Robinson Warner.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Wednesday morning at 11:00 with the Rev. Owen Sanderson officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow in the North Haven Center Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Tuesday (TODAY) from 6 to 8 pm.
