Anna R. Avena Felicello, 97, of North Haven, passed away Saturday, August 11th 2012 at Masonicare Health Center, Wallingford. She was the wife of the late Ralph P. Felicello. Mrs. Felicello was born in New Haven on August 16, 1914; daughter of the late Nicholas and Rachel Cimmino Avena. Anna had worked at the former Sargents & Company, Mammoth Mart and Kings Department Stores until her retirement. She was a parishioner of St. Frances Cabrini Church. Mother of Salvatore Felicello of North Haven and Maria Felicello of East Haven. Sister of the late John, Anthony and Andrew Avena, Raffie Tosto, Olympia DeLucia and Julia Cacace.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Tuesday morning at 9:30. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Frances Cabrini Church at 10:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Monday (TODAY) from 4 to 8 pm.
