Caroline F. Marino, 74, of East Haven, Connecticut, passed away on July 9th, at Masonic Health Care of Wallingford, CT, after a lengthy illness with her loving family by her side. Caroline was born on July 13, 1941 in New Haven to the late Anthony and Josephine DePonte Anastasio. Caroline is survived by her former husband Frank Marino, Sr., her children, Frank Marino (Doreen) and daughter, Michelle Marino, of East Haven. Also, step-mother to Gary Baylor (Donna) of Cheshire and Robert Baylor (Lisa) of North Haven. Loving grandmother (“Ma’Tarrie”/”NeNe”) to Stephanie, Frankie, Steven and Kevin Marino and Vin Staffa, all of East Haven, and Christopher, Jonathan and Samantha Baylor of Cheshire and many beloved friends and family. Caroline was predeceased by a sister, Frances Della Rocco and her loving companion of 25 years, James T. Baylor, Jr. Caroline was a secretary for many years at Grazioso & Hosen Law Firm of New Haven and F & N Fuel of East Haven. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Private funeral services have been entrusted to the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. There will be no visiting hours. Entombment was privately held in the St. Lawrence Mausoleum.
I lived next door to your mother for may years. She was my Maid of Honor. We had many happy times together. I talked to her before she lost her voice. She will be greatly missed.

I am very sorry for your loss. Although I did not know your loved one personally, I hope knowing that they are in our loving heavenly Father's memory will bring your family comfort during this difficult time. Very soon now we can look forward to God's promise at a Revelation 21:4: "… Death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore, the former thing gave passed away."
