We remember Connor as a bright, funny and engaging young man that was fully dedicated to the sport of Tae Kwon Do and his family / friends. Connor was always quick to grab a seat next to you during the long hours waiting for your turn at the many competitions we attended. He showed great determination and never seemed to get nervous when competing – he always just took things in stride and was quick with a joke to set everyone at ease. Connor used his humor to help lighten the mood – especially for his friends and fellow competitors!
I always looked for the Kusmit’s when we first arrived at a tournament – they were a great “TKD Family” and always made us feel welcome. It was easy to pass the long anxious hours waiting for your son’s turn in the ring with such warm and open people. We always rooted for each other’s children, and raced around the event trying to get to the ring where someone’s loved one was next to compete – it was a great experience and we loved watching Connor compete as he gave it all of his heart and soul.
I wish you luck and success on your new journey Connor – you will be loved and missed in this one.
May your cherished memories help you all through this most difficult time.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love, Carlee
May you rest in peace and forever watch over your family and friends, Connor.
May your shining legacy and loving memory give your parents and sister the strength to live their lives with renewed pride and honor.
Thank you for being a great young man and an example for all our kids to follow.
God bless you.
