Christian J. Schanz suddenly left this earth bound for heaven on September 5, 2012. He leaves his son, Dustin N. Cecarelli, his mom, Eve D. Schanz, his sister, Crystal J. Schanz, his nana, June O. Schanz, his aunt, Valerie L. Schanz, his niece Isabella A. Schanz and many friends who will all greatly miss his joyful caring presence.
Family and friends may call at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM (please note corrected visiting hours). Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions for Dustin’s Education Fund may be made to Raymond James FBO Dustin Cecarelli, C/O Nelson Cecarelli, P.O. Box 155, Northford, CT 06472.
We were very sorry to hear of Christians passing. Please except our sincerest sympathy’s during this difficult time. May god cherish Christian and comfort has family and all who knew him.

It breaks my heart to learn of Christian’s premature passing. I knew him back when he was a student. He was always one of my favorites. I had seen him several times since and he was in school and talked about his future. Such a likable soul who had so much to offer. I wish him Peace.
