Lynne P. Tomascak, 60, of Wallingford passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at her home. She was the beloved wife of Bart W. Tomascak. Born on February 10, 1952 in New Haven; daughter of Louise Saranitzky Preysner, of New Haven and the late John Preysner. Lynne was a Registered Nurse for many years. Mother of Kristen (Christopher) Neurath of Wallingford and BethAnne Tomascak of Meriden. Grandmother of CJ, Kailyn, Grayson and Nathaniel Neurath. Also survived by brothers, John Preysner of Wethersfield and Gary Preysner of New Haven.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Thursday morning at 9:15. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in the Most Holy Trinity Church, Wallingford. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Wednesday from 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross, 703 Whitney Avenue, New Haven, CT 06511.
My condolences to her family and friends. The loss of one so young is difficult . She was a real trooper, and she took her treatment and suffering with grace.
My deepest sympathy to the family. I grew up with Lynn and we met in kindergarten as young children. When I lose an old friend its makes me sad. Goodbye my friend I know you will be missed by your family and friends.
