Dorothy attended school in Chicago and then worked until her marriage to Bill on May 18, 1946.  Eventually they moved their family to Dolton IL where they lived for forty years until Bill’s death in 1994.  She moved to Oak Lawn IL in 1996 and lived there until 2009 when she moved to North Haven to be with her family and their many dogs.  In North Haven she worshipped at St. Barnabas, enjoying the occasional rogue Episcopalian service at St. Johns in North Haven.  A memorial service is being planned in early June at St. Linus Catholic Church in Oak Lawn, IL. Special thanks to Carol Stevens and Barbara Barski, her “Chicago daughters”.
