We will never forget the beautiful memories Evan’s life gave us.
So very sorry to hear of this loss, belatedly via the Pomona College magazine. Evan was a colleague, Pomona ’82, a fellow musician, very fondly remembered. He once asked me why I always played French music (I’m a flutist), and – not being a philosophy major, nor even having noticed this indulgence – I had no decent reply! I have remembered his jocular but perspicatious comment throughout the years, and indeed, widened my repertoire since! Terribly sorry to hear this news; my sincere condolences to his friends and family. – Katharine Rawdon, ’82 (Principal Flute, Portuguese Symphony Orchestra, Lisbon, Portugal)
