Donald A. Coburn, 87, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Monday, July 6, 2015 at his home with his beloved wife of 57 years Martha Everding Coburn by his side. Donald was born in Worcester, Massachusetts on April 4, 1928; son of the late Burtrum C. and Phoebe B. Pickett Coburn and was a graduate of the Colonial School of Design where he became and Electronics Draftsman. Donald worked for many different companies in the area including the former Picker Nuclear of Northford and was a car enthusiast. Father of Karen L. Coburn. Grandfather of Larry LaSalles. Brother of Carol (Stanley) Puchalski and the late Leonard Coburn and Marion Hebert. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Friday morning at 10:00. Family and friends may call from 9:00 am until time of service. Interment will follow in the North Haven Center Cemetery.
