Kim Francis “Botts†Wrzosek, 56, of Brooksville, FL, formerly of North Haven, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2012 at his home. Kim was born in New Haven on April 11, 1956; son of the late Robert E. and Evelyne Funaro Wrzosek. A 1974 North Haven High School graduate, Kim worked in the insurance industry in Florida for many years; was an avid golfer and a Boston Red Sox fan. Brother of James Wrzosek and his wife Carolyn of Hamden. Uncle of Dena Farber of Hamden. Also survived by many loving cousins and friends in Connecticut and Florida.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Saturday morning September 29th at 11:00 in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 2819 Whitney Ave., Hamden. There will be no visiting hours. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jack Viele Scholarship c/o Eli Whitney Museum, 915 Whitney Ave., Hamden, CT 06517 or a charity of one’s choice. The North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Jim…..words cannot express my shock when I read of Kim’s passing in this morning’s newspaper. There is no need to tell you of my feelings for him….we even have the same birthday! He always had and always will have a very special place deep in my heart. My love and condolences to you and your family.
