Lillian C. Bonie Reynolds, 69, of 216 Quinnipiac Avenue, North Haven, formerly of Strong Street, East Haven for over thirty years, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the CT Hospice, Branford surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of fifty years to Joseph W. Reynolds. Lillian was born in New Haven on April 5, 1943; a daughter of the late Anthony and Ethel Miller Bonie; she was a Certified Nurse’s Aide for the past 41 years and was working for Paradigm Healthcare Center of New Haven at the time of her illness. She was an avid New York Yankees fan. Mother of Joseph (Ramona) Reynolds, Anthony Reynolds, Sheri (John) Taddei and John Reynolds. Sister of Florence Trickett. Also survived by sixteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many loving and caring friends. The family would like to extend a very special “Thank You” to Lillian’s niece and Goddaughter Michelle Golino for all her kind hearted help, time and guidance, and also to all of Lillian’s friends and co-workers for the numerous acts of kindness given to her and her family throughout the past months, we will all miss her dearly.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue , Friday morning at 9:30. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Therese Church, North Haven at 10:00. The visiting hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 pm. Interment will follow in East Lawn Cemetery.
