Robert “Bob’ Wojciechowski, 70, of Anderson Road, Wallingford, passed awayThursday, October 10, 2013 in Germany. He was the husband of Christa Voelker Wojciechowski. Bob was born in New Haven on January 29 1943; son of the late Walter and Rose Wozniak Wojciechowski; served his country faithfully in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era; was a graduate of the CT State Institute of Technology in Hartford; was co-owner of New England Sound and Lighting of North Haven; was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Father Donaher Council of North Haven where he served as a treasurer for many years and also a Past Grand Knight. Father of Marion Wojciechowski. Grandfather of Nicole and Christine Carmody. Great-Grandfather of Kaislee and Ashlynn. Brother of June Coe, Carol (Anthony)Trovato and JohnWojciechowski.
Private funeral services have been entrusted to the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Christa, Marion. Wojie was a great friend whom I've know for 35 years. From my early DJ days with Big Daddy Review to the present at the Knights of Columbus in North Haven. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. May Bob rest in peace thru thy mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ.
