Jane Frances Swiantek Surprenant, 99, a lifelong resident of East Haven passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Talmadge Park, East Haven. She was the wife of the late William A. Surprenant, Sr. Jane was born in New Haven on March 10, 1916; daughter of the late Stephen and Frances Carbasz Swiantek. Mother of William A. Surprenant,Jr., Darleen Gagnon and the late Carol Cataldo. Also survived by 11 loved grandchildren, 23 cherished great-grandchildren and many loved nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings Joseph, Stanley, Walter and Stephen Swiantek, and Anna Sikorski.
Private funeral services have been entrusted to the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of ones choice in memory of Jane F. Surprenant.

I'll miss stopping by and visiting with you. Even after Amoco closed we still visited and I enjoyed our talks and laughs.
