Dorothy L. Izzo Gagliardi 99 of Cape Coral, Florida, formerly of Northford, died November 27th, 2014 at Coral Trace Health Care in Cape Coral, Florida. She was the wife of the late Patrick A. Gagliardi, Sr. Born in Bridgeport on January 28, 1915; daughter of the late Louis and Anna Rich Izzo. Mother of Patrick (Gail) Gagliardi, Jr. of Cape Coral, Florida, and Ann Marie (Pasquale) Guarino, Jr. of Cape Coral, Florida. Grandmother of Christine (Thomas Capaldo), Lisa Gagliardi, and Anna (Glen) Smith. Great-grandmother of Erica and Sera Amato. Sister of Lillian Fusco of Fairfield, Frances Settani of Cape Coral, Florida and the late Eleanor Atkinson and Louis Izzo. Her Funeral Procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, North Haven on Friday morning at 9:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Barnabas Church, North Haven at 10:00. Interment will follow in Kings Highway Cemetery, Milford. The visiting hours will be Thursday from 5 to 8 pm. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Alhzeimer Association.

"MOM" was a wonderful part of our family through out the years and a great friend to me and
Lou and Marc, Matt, and Meredith. We always enjoyed being with her and having her to our home.
I especially enjoyed out little outings to lunch or shopping when Ann and Pat were away. Or
just sitting and having tea by ourselves during the afternoon. Or in the evening with just Lou and I.
She was a Bright spot for me at times when I needed it. We will miss her!
