Andrew L. DeLise, 85, formerly of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the Regency House, Wallingford. He was the beloved husband of 58 years to the late Antoinette “Annette” DeMilo DeLise who passed away three months ago.  Andrew was born in New Haven on November 15, 1930, son of the late Angelo and Roxie DeBona DeLise; served his country faithfully in the US Air Force; had worked side by side with his father as a meat cutter and later worked for First National Stores as a butcher and later a meat manager for many years until his retirement.  Andrew was a sincere gentleman, always smiling which illuminated the room, loving and dedicated to family and friends especially his three grandchildren whom he loved unconditionally.  He was loved and respected by those whose lives he touched and will truly be missed.  Father of Roxanne (Jim) Bouchard.  Grandfather of Stacie Bouchard, James Bouchard (fiancé Lisa Linsley) and Nicole Bouchard. Brother of Virginia Klump and Pasquale W. (Maria) DeLise.  Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many loving and supportive In-Laws.  Predeceased by his brother-in-law Vincent Klump.  The family would like to extend a “Special Thank You” to all the nurses and staff at the Regency House for all the comfort and excellent care they not only provided to Andrew but to their entire family.

His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue on Tuesday morning at 10:30. Family and friends may call from 9:00 to 10:30 AM.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Barnabas Church at 11:00 am. Interment with full military honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
