Thomas A. Williams, Sr., 82, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Friday, March 13, 2015 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was the husband of fifty years to Beverly “Lee” O’Connor Williams. Tom was born in New Haven on August 18, 1932; son of the late Andrew and Kate Alma Frith Williams; he served his country faithfully in the US Marine Corp during the Korean War and had worked for the SNET Company for 37 years, retiring as an engineer.  Tom was an avid golfer, a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, a life member of the Elks Lodge, and a devoted UCONN Huskies fan.  Father of Susan (Julian) Huang and Thomas (Martha) Williams, Jr.  Adoring grandfather of Matthew, Kevin, Griffin and Ryan Huang, and Jack and Colin Williams.  Brother of Carolyn Williams Herman (Robert).

Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Frances Cabrini Church, 57 Pond Hill Road, North Haven on Tuesday morning at 10:00 to attend a Mass of Christian burial and are also invited to attend the committal services with full military honors immediately following in All Saints Cemetery.  The visiting hours will be Monday from 4 to 8 pm at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue.  Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Haven, Inc., 89 Mill Road, North Haven, CT  06473.
