Concetta Mendillo Puglisi, 89, of Hamden, passed away, Friday, November 30, 2012 at the CT Hospice, Branford. She was the beloved wife of Carmen Charles Puglisi, Sr. for 71 years. Born in New Haven on March 16, 1923; daughter of the late Anthony and Angela Mendillo. Concetta was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her three children Carmen Charles Puglisi, Jr. of Wallingford, Barbara Fee of Clinton and Gloria Barboza of East Haven, her six grandsons and seven great-grandchildren. Sister of Frank Mendillo of Clinton and the late Angela Smerglio. She was predeceased by her grandson Michael Barboza.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Monday afternoon at 2:00. Interment will follow in Centerville Cemetery, Hamden. Family and friends may call on Monday morning from 10:00 until time of service.
