My sincerest condolences to his family on Rolly's passing. I am proud to have known Rolly for over 40 years. Honesty and dedication are the two words that come to my mind when I think of Rolly. Also I remember, and will never forget from all those long years ago, the sound of his laughter when I told a long drawn out joke ("clean" he noted!!), one night as we were assembling the NHRHTA newsletter at Ken Warner's home. His genuine joviality that evening always endeared Rolly to me. He will be missed, but I am assured by my faith that we will meet once again and share laughter, and joy 'playing' with trains in Heaven. RJA
Rolly, you are loved and missed. My Father didn't hang around with a lot of people but he liked hanging out with you. Thank you for all you have done!!! God bless you and your family!!!!
Rolly: You will be truly missed. We've known each other since 1979. What wonderful times we had with railroading, setting up the NHRHTA fan trips and re-unions and most importantly, sharing a priceless friendship. May you rest in peace.
Your pal, "Rick the Rail."
