Dear Uncle Vinnie,
You will certainly be missed. May you now have peace and comfort and be with our Lord and your lovely wife.
For all your family, may they remember you with all the love and joy that you gave everyone.
Thank you for giving that love to us. Your nephew, Anthony and Rosemary
Dear Ellie, Jerry and family:
We are so sorry to hear of your brother’s passing. Our deepest sympathy to you and all your family. Just remember that he is not suffering any more and is at peace. Remember the good times that you all have shared.
Tony and Phyllis
I will always cherish the memories from fun on Sherman Avenue to our house on Mill Street. Basketball in the backyard where my father could never get a rebound. Christmas Eves where the gallon of wine was always at his side. Constant talk about Yankee baseball. And the one who called to let me know that my Dad passed away.
A best example of honestly and goodness.
Fran, Gregg, Megan, and Sara, I am so sorry for your loss. Sending my deepest condolences to your family.
I will truly miss my youngest uncle. He had a sense of humor and a warmth that made us all truly enjoy the time we spent with him. My sons’ contact with the “Connecticut” part of the family was only from short visits spread over many years. But they fondly remember their Uncle Vinny – he is part of the reason for my oldest son Anthony’s being a die-hard Yankees fan in Giant territory!
I was fortunate to be able to speak with him for the last time the Saturday before Thanksgiving when I was visiting with Madelyn and her family.
He will be sorely missed by all of us who share cherished memories of him, at family gatherings from Sherman Avenue to Second Avenue to Mill Street to California.
Uncle Vinny, you would be proud to know that I am still a Yankee fan after all these years on the west coast. I still cherish many memories of our family picnics at Indian Wells. You, Uncle Leo and Uncle Meachy would take several of us boys out there early to grab picnic tables for the whole gang. They sure were great times. I wish you much peace and I know you are happy to be reunited with your true love Aunt Phyllis. God bless you. Our thoughts are with Madelyn & Fran and their families.
