Frances DiLella DeLuigi, 89, of East Haven, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at the CT Hospice, Branford. Frances was born in New Haven on July 20, 1923; daughter of the late Frank and Antoinette Cucinelli DiLella; had worked as a hairdresser for most of her life having last work at Francine’s Beauty Salon of Hamden; was an excellent cook and baker. Mother of Donna (Gary) Burkbuckler of North Haven and Anthony DeLuigi of NYC. Grandmother of Krista (Rob) Criscuolo, Katelyn, Kara and Gary Burkbuckler, Jr. Great – Grandmother of Isabella Criscuolo. Sister of Rudolph (Midge) DiLella of Branford, Mary (Joe) Colella of NV, Francine Giannotti of Rocky Hill and the late Joseph DiLella and her twin Tina Daurio. Predeceased by her loving companion Alfred Pagliuca.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Friday afternoon at 12:00. Family and friends may call from 11:00 am until time of the services at 12:00 pm. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the CT Hospice, Inc., 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405.
