Anne K. O’Keefe Connell, 88, North Haven passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at her home with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of 62 years to Timothy B. Connell. Anne was born in New Haven on August 9, 1927; daughter of the late John and Frances Lynch O’Keefe and had worked as a Lab Technician for the former Grace New Haven Hospital and later as a Para-Professional for North Haven High School. She was a member of the Christian Community Action Group and was a Notre Dame fan. Mother of Sheila (Raymond) Gabucci, Susan (Matthew) Marchini and Judy (Jon) Northway. Grandmother of Christian T. Gabucci, Aeryn C. Northway and the late Nicholas R. Gabucci. Aunt of Patricia O’Keefe and many other loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by a sister Mary Early.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Friday morning at 9:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Frances Cabrini Church, North Haven at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Thursday (TODAY) from 4 to 7 pm. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis School, 423 Ferry Street, New Haven, CT 06513.
