Carmella Rosadini Freeman, 87, of Meriden, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2012 at the MidState Medical Center, Meriden. She was the wife of the late Victor I. Freeman. Carmella was born in Hamden on May 22, 1925; daughter of the late Girolamo and Alduina Susini Rosadini; had worked the SNET Company for many years retiring as an Assistant Manager; was a member of the St. Rose Catholic Women’s Club, the Telephone Pioneers of America and St. Jude Catholic Association. Carmella was very decorative; an avid bowler; loved animals; traveled throughout the United States and abroad. Sister of Lucy Reitano, Adele (John) Pine all of Hamden, Mario (Susan) Rosadini of East Haven and the late Leo and Quido Rosadini. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Frances Cabrini Church, 57 Pond Hill Rd, North Haven on Friday morning at 9:45 to attend a mass of Christian burial. There will be no visiting hours. Interment will be private in the In Memoriam Cemetery, Wallingford. Please omit flowers and kindly make all memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105. The North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Carm’s family in this great loss. Carm was such a kind, generous and charming person. She will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. May she rest in peace.
